10,000 White Roses in Cordova, Cebu City, Philippines

Hey guys,

Travel Post! Travel Post ! Travel Post!

I've been struggling with personal issues for the past few weeks and it's hard. I haven't written anything, even on my personal journal. But I've got some spare time today so I thought of posting these overdue blog posts I've been meaning to post last month.

First is my visit to 10,000 Roses Cafe in Cebu City. The first time I saw about this newest tourist spot online, I said to myself that I need to check it out when I come back to Cebu. After a few weeks, I had a work-related travel to Cebu for a week. We can't deny that work-related travel can sometimes be tiring. But I've been lucky to at least have a day to explore the city.

I managed to befriend some of my clients and one of them agreed to go with one of my shenanigans. So I'll share with you a simple guide on how to go to 10,000 Roses Cafe in Cordova.

My client's place is in Mingnanilla so we rode a jeepney to SM Cebu City where the terminal of vans and UV express going to Cordova are. The fare costs 35.00pesos and it will take you 30 minutes to 1 hour to get to the terminal in Cordova. From Cordova terminal, you can ride a tricycle going to 10,000 Roses Cafe which costs 20.00 pesos per head. It will take you about 10-15 minutes to arrive there.

There is an entrance fee of 20.00 pesos, and you can enjoy your time there all day. If you have a car or motorcycle, they also collect Parking fees in the venue.

There are a lot of people there during weekends so you need to go there early if you want a decent photo of the whole place. To be honest, I thought the white roses were all real but it was made up of some kind of fabric or something. But it really looks good seeing them all together. The place is really nice to hang out with your friends and family. It gives you the incredible view of the seaside too.

Incredible view and the sunset there is awesome! <3

Since the place is still new, the upper part of the cafe, where you can have an incredible view of the flowers is still close to the public. And some foods from their menu is not available.

We tried their Hawaiian Pizza which costs Php380.00 and their iced coffee costs Php145.00.

We enjoyed the view, sat and relaxed and read a book while waiting for the flowers to light up at 6 o'clock in the evening. I think that's the most awaited time for all the people who went there--to witness the flowers light up at night!

Anidah will probably kill me when she sees this! hahaha

When it hits 6'oclock sharp, the flowers light up! And all the people there gathered around to get a photo. The place was so crowded and  I think I only got one decent shot. Hahaha.

I had a really great time in Cordova. It's an amazing place and I love the sunset there, it's gorgeous. Also, I really enjoyed the company of a new found friend. I'll never be alone when I'm in Cebu! LOL.

You guys should check out 10,000 Roses Cafe in Cordova if you ever visit Cebu. It's a beautiful place. 🙂 Until next shenanigan!

Signing off,
