Book Review: And Then There Were None

Hey bookish Nerds,

And Then There Were None

by: Agatha Christie

“First, there were ten – a curious assortment of strangers summoned as weekend guests to a private island off the coast of Devon. Their host, an eccentric millionaire unknown to all of them, is nowhere to be found. All that the guests have in common is a wicked past they’re unwilling to reveal – and a secret that will seal their fate. For each has been marked for murder. One by one they fall prey. Before the weekend is out, there will be none. And only the dead are above suspicion.”

Let me just first say that Agatha Christie is brilliant!

This book is about 10 strangers who were peculiarly invited to a party in an island called the Indian Island by a mysterious Mr. Owen. Then all of them are being accused for murder and one by one, they all get killed. The queer part is that the killings seems to have been patterned to children’s rhyme called, Ten Little Indians.

I LOVE this book! This is the second book I’ve read from AC and this definitely sets it! She is indeed the Queen of Mystery and Murder Novels! I love how one sitting reading this brilliant books sets me in brilliant hyped and intense thrill! I swear, I was so afraid and excited while reading it. I was genuinely frightened because I read it alone in my apartment and I swear, there’s creeps all over my body.

The queerness of the situation and the different personalities of the characters is just bonkers but genuinely good! I love the non stop speculations and guessing game to who is the real murderer. 😀 That was really intense! I keep guessing who the murderer too. And there’s  some point at the near end of the book, that I thought I was right but then, boom!! The twist at the end is pure genius!

I totally recommend this book if you like a really good suspense/thriller/mystery book that will leave you bonkers! Hahaha.:D 😀 And also, this is an AC book that is not a part of any series so it’s a great book to start with!  <3
