These past few weeks has been so hard for me. I keep feeling sad and unmotivated, so I went out with my friends this Saturday to chill and absorb good vibes.
And guess what, we finally went to “The Nook Cafe” the famous Harry Potter themed cafe in the metro! 😀
We went there around 4 in the afternoon and we arrived there with some people already queuing outside the cafe. To be honest, I didn’t expect that. Haha. But it wasn’t long ’til we got a table for three. Yay!
It’s like a taste of a dream finally becoming into a reality, well at least for us witches and wizard, (muggles are invited too, i guess! haha) anything that could bring us to the Wizarding World we have been dreaming for!
Let’s start off with the food/drink – – what’s better to have when you’re underage? Butterbeer! – technically we’re already matured independent young women, but because of the nerds that we are, we just have to pretend we’re under age! LOL.
We got the Harry’s Butterbeer which cost us P100.00 only! (whuut?!) They have two types of Butterbeer: there’s the Harry’s Butterbeer and Hagrid’s Butterbeer. They also serve fries, hotdog sandwiches, coffees (frappes, brewed and lattes) It was my bad I didn’t take a photo of their menus. XD
It tasted so buttery sweet! We also ordered a combo meal which includes Fries, Hotdog sandwich and bacon. Eat it while hot!! Yum! 🙂 Cost us P220.00, not bad, right? ^_^
They also have a complete set of all the Houses’ Uniform, so we tried it out too!
The most amusing thing I saw there was the CUPBOARD under the stairs! And look who we found there— DOBBY! Isn’t he the cutest elf?! LOL.
The place is full of other things that make you feel you’re in Hogwarts and it brings back all the magic and your childhood memories. The only comment I have for this place is that it is too small for the large number of witches and wizard lurking around the metro. Like it could be more fun and magical if the place is a little bit bigger, imo. 🙂
Look at this guys, the cashier told me this wand is the actual wand Allan Rickman (Professor Severus Snape) used in the film! She told me that the owner of the cafe won it in a bidding! How lucky! I’m a huge fan of Severus Snape, I do actually have a replica of that wand in my house! <3 The wand is off limits– like you can’t touch it, but you can take photos of it. 🙂
And lastly, I can’t leave this cafe without bookstagram-ing! LOL!
There guys, you should check out The Nook Cafe — for Harry Potter fans out there! Bring your muggle friends too, it’s cozy place to hangout and catch up with your nerdy chickas! 🙂 xx
